Models 103 & 104RA are compact electric locks simple to install on all types of Doors. The door is locked or Unlocked by remote switch, key switch, time programmer or other electrical contact which interrupts the power. 103 model is our standard “fail-safe” unit which projects the bolt only while power is “on.” when the power is “off” the bolt retracts. 103 104RA (reverse action) unlike our standard unit is “fail-secure” and will project the bolt only when the power is “off.” when the power is “on” the bolt retracts

These are awesome electronic locks when a Mag-lock is not suitable. I've used these for years, and have never had a bad experience. Easy to install (for an experienced tech), and works like a champ. A built in read switch and magnet, prevents the deadbolt latch to be left extended out while the door is open, but as soon as the door is fully closed it will pop out to lock the door as long as power is being applied. Very cool design.exactly what I wanted met all my expectations
